FROM TRIP ADVISOR
“Nice “Tented” Accommodations” ••••
Tented accommodations were quite nice. Shower was especially good with plenty of hot water. Appreciated the provided robe as I had left mine at home. Enjoyed 2 breakfasts, lunch and 2 dinners. Food was good and service was very good.
First impressions were serenity, peace and professionalism! Our welcome was great. The tented accommodation was excellent – clean, spacious and with lots of extra surprises. Our meals were five star, with loads of choices. The care and attention from the staff was amazing! Without a doubt we will recommend Falaza Game Lodge and Spa!
“Falaza – a place where fairytales do come true!” •••••
Falaza – a place where fairytales do come true! A game lodge that we will always hold very close to our hearts! From the moment we arrived we were spoilt! From amazing service (always with a smile and nothing was too much for the staff to handle), brilliant food and stunning accommodation!
A big thank you to Nicolien and team for making our wedding so special in every way! A dream come true – ceremony in the bush, reception under the trees lit with candles, fairy lights and an outside dance floor! Thank you Falaza for making this a memory that will be treasured forever!
“Amazing venue – amazing staff!” •••••
My husband and I had four wonderful days here for our wedding in November 2012. The property is absolutely stunning the pictures don’t do it justice and the staff go above and beyond. My wedding was truely amazing, we were lucky enough to have giraffe and zebra wonder in on the action and stay for the ceremony and photographs! The little added extras and sentiments made all the difference too. My new husband, bridesmaid and photographers were taken on a special game drive specifically so we could have photos taken with the animals and because of the chance of rain the staff worked tirelessly setting up the lounge – removing sofas armchairs and pine tables and putting up fairy lights and more candles than you can imagine. It was beyond perfect. Also we saw more animals on the Falaza game drive than the Big 5. The spa is fabulous too. We took our 2 young children with us and the reception manager and Sam (restaurant) went out of the way to accommodate for them – colouring books, meals a travel cot for my baby daughter – early breakfasts and extra snacks on the morning of our game drives. The service is second to none! Nothing was too much hassle and Sam is a credit to the reserve. Really cannot recommend the Falaza Game Park and Spa enough. AMAZING!
“Our Honeymoon” •••••
What a great place to go on honeymoon! We felt like we were in another world! The restaurant and spa treatments were fantastic. The luxury tents are really beautiful, very unique! Everything about our experience was great!
“Wonderful, intimate African game park resort” •••••
We travelled to Falaza with our 10 year old daughter. We heartily recommend it. The daily game drives were done by a very skilled and committed naturalist (one of the best we had on our entire trip to Africa), the resort staff were exceptional, and the food was lovely. The tented cabins were very luxurious with the outside shower and tub option along with the inside shower. Beds were very comfy, and we had lots of space even with the twin bed they added for our daughter. If you don’t want the huge park resort gig, this is a lovely alternative. Would go back in a flash!
“2 Night Stay” •••••
Stayed 2 nights in a tent, although you would never have known as it had tiled floor and all mod cons including an outside bath and indoor and outdoor showers. The food was very good with an excellent choice. We went on a river cruise at St Lucia where we saw hippo, crocodile and lots of bird life, we also went to Hluhluwe Imfolozi game park where we were lucky enough to encounter a herd of at least 100 elephants including week old babies at one point we were surrounded which was an experience we will never forget.
Absolutely loved the place. Staff was terrific, food was good, accommodation amazing.
“Exceptional service, from reception, cuisine, to rooms and friendly staff.” ••••
Private and exclusive feel. Beautiful rooms and set in the actual reserve with animals wandering through. Bird life will wake you in the mornings it is so prolific. Good cuisine of a standard we expected. Very friendly staff, with good knowledge. Spa is recommended. Perfect for a few days away from the Rat Race! We’ll be back.
“A First Class Experience” •••••
My wife and I stayed for three nights in the middle of November and honestly wished we could have stayed for more. The friendly atmosphere at Falaza became apparent from the moment we parked the car and were greeted by some of the Reception staff.
Check-in was very efficient and our baggage was whisked away to our luxury tent before we knew it.
Bar and open plan restaurant facilities were really good, lending themselves to the game park atmosphere. The informative chat we had with one of the Rangers over pre-dinner drinks on the first evening gave us a good idea of the great time we were about to experience.
The quality and quantity of the food and wine could not be faulted, even down to the picnic lunch/tea served during a game reserve drive.
Both of the resident Game Rangers were very friendly and knowledgeable with regard to the wildlife in the game reserves, whether on water or land.
We were both really sorry to have to leave, but Isandlwana beckoned.
